I was severely bullied growing up. That caused my mental illness. Yes, it's a little bit genetic. We all have unique minds and break differently. There are people who get bullied and never develop psychosis. But it's like someone who injures their leg then walks with a limp. The psychosis would never have happened if the kids didn't injure me. My mental illness is like a limp caused by traumatic experiences.
