Somebody asked how I am doing at the coffee shop. I said with a smile that "I'm doing ok."
My mom asked, I said: "I'm doing ok."
Through emails people ask, I say: "I'm doing ok."
Isn't that the biggest lie we say? It's just easier than writing an essay about how I'm not ok.
