Somebody said they just didn't have the heart to tell me the truth. Apparently, the truth is bad and I really fucked up. Just don't tell me the truth never, ever, ever. As the old saying goes, it is what it is. We can't change the past, assuming they still want a friendship, we can have a good tomorrow. I don't know what the hidden realities are but something tells me not only did I blow an opportunity and a potential friendship, it's one of the biggest fumbles in human history to put it lightly. But as the old saying goes, it is what it is.
